Elysha O’Neill

State Manager – NSW, ACT

Elysha O’Neill leads Sport4All across New South Wales and the ACT, working with clubs, schools and councils to remove barriers and embed long-term disability inclusion. She supports a network of local Inclusion Coaches, building capability on the ground so change is practical, sustainable and community-led.

With more than 15 years’ experience in sport development and program delivery, Elysha brings strong leadership across partnerships, community engagement, and inclusion strategy. She has worked across multiple state sporting organisations and community initiatives.

A former elite water polo goalkeeper, Elysha represented Australia at junior and senior level for close to a decade, played in Spain, and later coached in Zimbabwe and South Africa. That mix of high-performance experience and community coaching gives her a rare perspective on how pathways start at the grassroots.

Elysha believes inclusion grows from simple, everyday changes, clear communication, small adjustments and confident people. Her focus is helping communities create welcoming environments where everyone can participate and belong.

“Inclusive sport matters to me because there is no I in team and everyone is included. Inclusive sport looks like one big happy family all together. I love sport because it keeps me fit and active, and I feel part of a team”
