NSW Water Ski Federation – Disabled Division delivers modified water-skiing programs for people with physical disability or who are vision-impaired across multiple on-water locations in NSW and the ACT. The program operates from different ski sites throughout the year, with accessibility features varying by location.
Current delivery locations include:
- Wisemans Ferry, NSW – 2916 River RoadHawkesbury River
This site offers venue access with accessible toilets available. Parking is available on grassed areas, providing space for drop-off and mobility needs. - Manly Vale, NSW – End of King StreetManly Dam
This location has access to an accessible toilet and change room a short walk from the ski area. Parking is available nearby, with vehicle drop-off possible at the ski site. Please note there is a steep incline between parking and the water. - Chinderah, NSW – 7-9 Chinderah Bay DriveTweed River
Sessions at this site include hire of an accessible toilet, with plenty of parking available on grassed areas at the ski site. - Fyshwick, ACT – Ski LaneMolongolo RiverThis location offers accessible toilet facilities at the ski club which is nearby and ample parking directly at the ski site.
Participants, families, and supporters are encouraged to get in touch to discuss which location is most suitable, current session schedules, and any specific access requirements. Both playing and non-playing roles are available across all locations.
