Description

Collaroy Tennis Club is recognised as a progressive and inclusive tennis club, located on the beautiful Long Reef Reserve on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. The Club is led by a volunteer management committee, and together with our coaching partner Evolve we offer a range of social, competition, fitness and coaching opportunities to participate in the game. The Club has 5 synthetic grass and one acrylic-based hard court for wheelchair players and training, and a clubhouse with a fully equipped kitchen, vending machines for snacks and drinks, a table tennis table and big-screen TV. A welcoming and friendly environment to have fun and play, the Inclusion Sub Committee hosts events and programs to support under-represented groups throughout the year including the local LGBTQ+ community, players with disabilities and ADF service personnel and veterans.

“Inclusive sport matters to me because there is no I in team and everyone is included. Inclusive sport looks like one big happy family all together. I love sport because it keeps me fit and active, and I feel part of a team”
