Playing sport is not a privilege, it’s a right for every Australian, including the 5.5 million people (21.4%) living with disability.
Yet, 75% of Australians with disability want to take part in sport but feel limited by barriers to access and opportunity.
Local councils and sporting bodies play a pivotal role in changing this. By hiring a Sport4All Inclusion Coach, partners can create accessible programs, empower local clubs and schools, and embed long-term inclusion across their communities.
Sport4All is designed and delivered by people with disability and lived experience. Together, we’re helping councils, sporting organisations, and communities make inclusion a lived reality, not just an aspiration.
A Sport4All Inclusion Coach is a person with disability or lived experience of disability who works within your organisation to guide, educate, and support inclusion at every level.
They help clubs and schools break barriers, deliver training, and create safe, accessible spaces for everyone – including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and those in regional and remote areas.
Across Australia, Inclusion Coaches are already helping communities embed inclusion in sport. Read how councils, clubs, and schools are creating long-term impact through lived-experience leadership.
